Lutine de Wal Pastoor (NO)

Lutine de Wal Pastoor is a senior researcher at the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS). Her research is primarily aimed at children and young people with refugee and immigrant backgrounds. She is educated as a Social Anthropologist (M.Phil.) and obtained her doctoral degree in Social Sciences (dr.polit.) from the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo, in 2008. Her dissertation deals with communication and learning in multiethnic classrooms. Currently, she carries out a research project examining the settlement experiences of unaccompanied minor refugees, with a particular focus on education, accommodation and care provisions.
